550 paracord, type III
The standard cord for almost everything on this site. Four millimetres thick, a woven nylon sheath around seven twisted.

Polypropylene multifilament rope. Lighter than nylon, it floats, it dries fast and it does not soak up smells.
OpenBioThane and adapters
A coated webbing that is waterproof, easy to clean and does not hold odour. Common in dog gear for exactly those three.
