King cobra
A cobra worked a second time over the first. Twice the material, twice the width, and a noticeably firmer piece.
Material use
roughly double a plain cobra, so about 60 cm per finished centimetre.
Tying it
- Tie a plain cobra over the core and finish the ends.
- Start a second cobra over the first, using the same working direction.
- Keep the tension slightly looser than on the first layer, or the piece will curl.
- Finish both layers at the same end and melt the ends together.
Notes
Best on wide bracelets and on collars for larger dogs. On a thin wrist the result is heavy and stands away from the skin.
