Fishtail

A flat pattern that reads as a series of V shapes. Slimmer than a cobra and quicker to tie once the rhythm is there.

Tying it

1. Run two core strands between the anchor points.
2. Bring the left working end over both cores and under the right.
3. Bring the right end over both cores and under the left.
4. Keep the crossings at the same angle throughout; the V shape depends on it.

Notes

Because it is thinner, the fishtail suits watch bands and any piece that has to sit flat under a sleeve.
