Knot Just Jigs
Project

Key rings and charms

Small pieces, quick to make, and the cheapest way to learn a knot before committing a metre of cord to a bracelet.

Why start here

A key ring takes twenty minutes and uses offcuts. Any knot that works at this scale will work at bracelet scale, and mistakes cost nothing.

Constructions

Hardware

Split rings, swivel clips or a simple lark's head over an existing ring. Fittings are listed here: key rings and fittings (https://www.123paracord.co.uk/paracord-supplies-and-accessories/key-rings/).

Finishing

On small pieces the melted end is visible from every angle, so it is worth pressing it flat carefully and, where the cord allows, hiding it under the last knot.
